B.D. Lenz - Since picking up a guitar at the age of 14, B.D. has studied with such jazz luminaries as Mike Stern (Miles Davis Band, Atlantic Jazz recording artist), pianist Charlie Banacos (instructor of Mike Stern, Michael Brecker, and Jeff Berlin), and Vic Juris (recording artist and instructor at William Paterson College and Manhattan School of Music). After graduating from Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA., B.D. continued his studies at the College of New Jersey, where he graduated with honors. He has played in bands ranging from pit orchestras to rock bands; big bands to jazz combos. Recordings include his own CD's Tell The World and Lost and Found, as well as recordings with jazz drummer Greg Federico on his CD's, Forever Now, Purity, and Love to Live, Live to Love. B.D. will also be featured on bassist Ron Velosky's upcoming recording Trios and Quartets.James Rosocha - James graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1995 and has studied tenaciously with such notables as Harry Leahy, Charlie Banacos, and bassists Dave LaRue and Jeff Andrews. James is a highly sought after bass player who has worked with B.D. Lenz, Greg Federico, The Roosters, Bobolink, and Sauce. James can be heard on Tell The World and Lost and Found. Tom Cottone - An extremely versatile drummer, Tom has played in various rock, jazz, RandB and funk bands since graduating from Berklee College of Music. These ensembles include 3rd Estate, Carter Holland, and Fossil, a pop/rock band that toured the U.S. and made. appearances. Currently, Tom can be found beating the skins for B.D. Lenz, One More Once, The Soul Survivors, and Hyperactive. Geoff Mattoon - Saxophonist Geoff Mattoon grew up outside of Boston and began studying piano at age nine. Upon graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Geoff established himself on the New York scene as both a player and a composer. Geoff recently released his debut recording, 'Unity'. He has played with many jazz greats in and around New York. Joe Mekler A true veteran of the business, percussionist Joe Mekler has toured the U.S. and Europe with the likes of Deborah Henson-Conant (jazz harpist formerly on GRP), Karen Acres , and Ann Hampton Calloway , he has cruised the Western Carribean with jazz group Bicceri DeVino and has numerous recording credits of all styles including B.D. Lenz's Tell the World and Lost and Found . Joe is a graduate of William Paterson University with a degree in music and continues to be a top-call musician in the Phil area. to contact: phone the web
